There's almost nothing to tell — because we collect almost nothing.

No account, no personal data

Algo Py needs no account. There is no sign-up, no profile, and no form asking for your name, email, phone or PAN. We do not knowingly collect personal information about you.

What the server sees

Like any website, our host may keep standard technical logs (for example the requesting IP address and page requested) to keep the service running and secure. This is not used to identify you and is not sold or shared for marketing.

Third-party requests

Market data is fetched by our server, not your browser, so your IP is never sent to any data provider as you browse — not to NSE, BSE, Moneycontrol, Upstox, Tickertape, AMFI or Yahoo. They see our server, once per scheduled build, and never see you.

Your browser loads nothing from anyone else either. The stylesheet, the icons, the web fonts (Inter and Sora) and the charting library are all served from this site itself. Until September 2026 they came from public CDNs (cdn.jsdelivr.net and Google Fonts), which received your IP address and user-agent with every page; that is no longer the case. Outbound links you click (screener.in on a stock row, for example) take you to sites with their own policies and their own view of you.

The Share button

Pressing Share on a row builds the message in your browser and copies it to your clipboard. It is not sent to us, and we do not log it or count it.

If you then choose WhatsApp, X, Telegram or email, your browser opens that service with the text pre-filled — from that point you are on their site under their privacy policy, exactly as if you had pasted it there yourself. On a phone we may hand the text to your operating system's own share sheet; the choice of app, and whether to send at all, is entirely yours.

We never read your clipboard — we only write to it, and only when you press the button.

Cookies & storage

We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. The site may use minimal local storage in your browser for basic functionality (such as the app/PWA behaviour). Nothing there identifies you.

Your control

Because we store no account and no personal profile, there's nothing to track, export, or delete on our side. Clearing your browser storage removes anything the site kept locally.
