Rules & market regulations
The ground rules for using a market tool in India, sensibly.
We are analytical only
Algo Py screens and visualises public market data. It does not place orders, hold your money, or manage a portfolio. It is not a broker, an exchange, or a registered adviser.
Regulated markets
Indian securities markets are regulated by SEBI and the exchanges (NSE, BSE). Trading is done through your own SEBI-registered broker, under their terms and the exchanges' rules. Follow those rules, and understand the products (equity, F&O, etc.) before you trade.
Advice needs registration — this isn't it
Under SEBI regulations, personalised investment advice may only be given by registered investment advisers / research analysts. Algo Py gives none. The “verdicts” and “trade plans” are generic, rule-based study aids shown to everyone, not advice for your situation.
Beware of tips and manipulation
Ignore “guaranteed” tips, pump-and-dump groups, and unsolicited multibagger calls. Manipulating prices or spreading false information is illegal. Nothing here is a tip; every number is meant to be verified.
Your responsibilities
- Trade only through a registered broker, within the law.
- Report and pay taxes on your gains as applicable.
- Make your own decisions; you alone are responsible for them.
